in a fully funded 12 month project with ‘Free Refugee’,
Flanders, Belgium, from 1st September 2008 to 1st September
2009.
This position would suit a motivated person, who likes
interacting with those from other cultures, participating
in educational and leisure time activities, and who is
interested in using his/her own initiative to improve
the lives of the asylum seekers who visit the centre.
The volunteer will also be able to attend Dutch language
classes along with the refugees.
The placement is fully funded and full training and support
will also be provided. The candidate does not need a lot
of experience, just lots of enthusiasm to learn Dutch
and an interest in refugee issues.
Knowledge of Arabian, French, Koerdic, and Russian would
